Next Friday 1-1:45PM we'll begin weekly Zoom-based "Individual Student Trades Guidance Protocol" sessions: Any of you can present details about a soon-to-graduate student and get support from the GCGI team (and anyone else who logs on) about best next steps in your post-secondary guidance. Sign up to present a student here or just log in to listen to the conversation! Presenting only requires a 20 minute commitment.

- Tuesday March 18th 8AM-2PM: Emiliano Sanchez (OUSD) is running a BIG skilled trades fair for students at Cypress Mandela Training Center, 8AM-2PM. If your school is not currently attending and you want to, please contact emiliano.sanchez@ousd.
org to inquire about available space and required fees. - Friday May 9th, 10AM-1PM: Carpenter's Union Training Center - Women in Trades Career event at their training center in Pleasanton. This is a student / graduate facing event. The carpenters are actively trying to recruit more women apprentices through their dedicated pre-apprenticeship program. This is a great event for your young women to get a sense of what that would be like! Flier says to register by April 25th but only contact info is a phone number: (925) 462-9644
- June 23-27: $1000 Paid PD week for teachers offered by EBMUD + the Federal EPA (Still exists for now!!!): East Bay Sustainable Solutions: Water and Green Jobs Experience Week
